Over half of apprentices report that they would leave a job if their employer didn\u2019t provide a mentor to support their learning. But there may be times when you don\u2019t have a mentor available who is a good fit for your apprentice. In these cases, you may want to connect your apprentice with a mentor from outside your workplace. Here are some tips and resources to help you connect your apprentice with a mentor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apprenticesearch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ApprenticeSearch<\/a> can connect apprentices with mentors and a variety of other resources including:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apprenticesearch.com\/news\/women-in-skilled-trades-peer-mentorship-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">peer mentorship groups for women in the skilled trades<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apprenticesearch.com\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">industry networking events<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/leadership.caf-fca.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Mentor Development Program<\/a> offers support for women and gender-diverse individuals in the skilled trades.
