Programs help learners develop a plan to meet their goals. They offer free, flexible, individualized support for as long as needed. Adult upgrading programs offer skills upgrading in<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reading<\/li>\n<li>writing<\/li>\n<li>math<\/li>\n<li>digital technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adult upgrading programs also help adults build important skills to be successful at work. These are the 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/services\/jobs\/training\/initiatives\/skills-success\/understanding-individuals.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skills for Success<\/a>. These will differ based on the needs of the community they serve. Some examples include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>math for the trades<\/li>\n<li>leadership and communication<\/li>\n<li>health and safety<\/li>\n<li>G1 test preparation<\/li>\n<li>digital technology like iPads or smartphones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adult upgrading programs are flexible and customizable based on the program and the learner. Adult upgrading programs can also help apprentices prepare for their qualifying exams, including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exam preparation<\/li>\n<li>strategies to manage test anxiety<\/li>\n<li>practice tests<\/li>\n<li>skills assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are also many benefits to you, the employer!
