If employers don\u2019t communicate effectively, you may lose your employees to other workplaces.<\/p>\n<p>Investing in building positive communication skills can<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reduce potential conflicts<\/li>\n<li>reduce misunderstandings<\/li>\n<li>improve employee engagement<\/li>\n<li>improve productivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clear and effective communication saves time and money for employers because<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>there are fewer misunderstandings about tasks, job roles, etc.<\/li>\n<li>employers can focus on day-to-day operations<\/li>\n<li>expectations are clear so employees (including apprentices) are more efficient<\/li>\n<li>apprentices feel supported and heard, leading to greater retention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Communication isn\u2019t just important for leadership roles.
